 With an unprecedented record jump, the death toll from the Corona virus in Germany within 24 hours approached the threshold of 600 cases, amid calls for a comprehensive and strict lockdown across the country.

The head of the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases in Germany considered that his country's successful handling of the first wave of the Coronavirus pandemic in the spring has led many to question the extent of the virus’s seriousness or even its existence.

 

A spokeswoman for the Russian Investigation Authority, Svetlana Petrenko, announced that the young man who was arrested by the security services of the Republic of Tatarstan, on suspicion of killing 26 elderly women, has confessed to his crimes.

 The spokeswoman for the Russian Interior Ministry, Irina Volk, announced that the police were able to identify the culprit in the theft in the Tver region thanks to the genetic code and a medical mask.

 British police closed roads near the "Heron Tower" skyscraper in central London on Monday after receiving a report saying that a suspicious parcel had been found near the building.
