Speaking to France 24, Amnesty International Secretary-General Anias Callamard said that

 what is happening in the Gaza Strip is an unprecedented crisis .

The Palestine Red Crescent Society issued a statement confirming that Israeli tanks are

 besieging the "Al-Ahli Baptist" Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. "The Red Crescent

 ambulance crews are unable to move to reach the injured and wounded,"the association

 said.

The Israeli army stormed at dawn on Wednesday the Shifa Medical Complex, the largest

 hospital in the Gaza Strip, where more than two thousand people are still stuck, after days

 of violent battles in its vicinity, during which it was shelled by the advancing Israeli army

 reinforced with tanks, after Israel accused Hamas of using it for military purposes, which the

 movement denies.

The Israeli occupation has not spared the conditions of the wounded, injured, children and

 infants in the Gaza Strip.as the war waged by Israel on the Gaza Strip entered its sixth week

 on Saturday, November 11, 2023, the violent Israeli shelling escalated and continued in the

 vicinity of Shifa Hospital west of Gaza City, the largest in the Strip, as the Israeli army

 tightens its siege on this medical complex, which is under intense bombardment amid a

 complete power outage.
