The number of people naturalized in Germany in 2022 was about 168,500, which is much more than the previous year, as the number increased by about 37 thousand people or 28 percent compared to 2021.

Syrian President refuses to hold a meeting with president Ordoghan before the departure of Turkish forces from Syria

Zelensky imposes sanctions on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad

Because of Syria's solidarity with the Russian war on Ukraine and its recognition of the occupied areas as Russian lands,
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a decree imposing sanctions on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, 141 entities, and 300 individuals. The decree followed a proposal from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
