A US federal appeals court on Saturday rejected a conservative attorney's lawsuit to withhold the announcement of Democratic candidate Joe Biden's victory in the Georgia presidential election.

The court also decided to maintain procedures that will make it easier for voters in the state to cast their votes in absentia in the Senate run-off elections next month.

And will determine the Senate elections in Georgia, which will be held on the fifth of January, which party, Republican or Democrat will control the House in its new session.

The Trump campaign and his supporters suffered similar judicial defeats in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
