US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a statement today, Saturday, that "the election of US President Joe Biden has dawned a new day of hope in America."

For his part, Biden said that he feels proud after "the Americans chose him to lead the country."

He added in his tweet on Twitter that "the work that awaits him as the president of the country is not easy," stressing that he will be president of all Americans.

Today, Saturday, the major American media announced the victory of the Democratic candidate Biden, in the presidential elections.

The Edison Research Center and several major television networks said Biden won the US presidential election.
