Americans consider the current election campaign one of the strangest election campaigns in history, as its activities have been reduced in an unprecedented way due to preventive precautions and isolation measures due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus that has killed more than 230,000 people in the United States, while the number of infected people in the country exceeded 9 Millions of people.
Consequently, authorities in 14 states and the District of Columbia decided to mail ballot papers to voters as a precaution, and other states have extended deadlines for early voting.
For opinion polls, data collected by the political science portal Real Clear Politics from all electoral polls indicates that Trump lags Biden in popularity among voters across the country by about eight percentage points, and in volatile major states by nearly Three to seven points.
Nevertheless, experts believe that Trump still has a chance to win, as the result is linked to the turnout of supporters of both parties to the polls.
