After the United States of America faced paralysis in air traffic

It cost the country millions of dollars, information began to unfold about the malfunction that paralyzed air traffic in the skies of the United States, and it turned out that an engineer was behind the matter.

The Federal Aviation Administration agency in the United States ordered the suspension of flights in the skies of the country, following a malfunction of the NOTAM system, which serves to warn pilots of possible dangers throughout the flight path.

It was initially thought to be the result of a cyberattack, and a senior US military official even said that if the malfunction in the aviation system proved to be an attack, it would be considered an "act of war".

But it turned out to be just a technical glitch, at least according to the statements made by US officials so far.

ABC News said that the technical malfunction was caused by an unintentional error that occurred during a pre-scheduled maintenance operation.

The network quoted an official familiar with the matter: "there is an engineer who worked on replacing one file with another," indicating that this engineer did not realize that the matter involved a big mistake.

However, the official stressed that "the mistake was not intentional ".

In the same context, the US network "CNN" reported that the file that disrupted the air traffic included a damaged database (inside the NOTAM system).

In the end, it seems that the technical glitch that hit the air traffic was mainly human error.

As a result of this error, the system began to show problems before it completely crashed, and a subsequent investigation revealed that it was the file replacement that led to everything that happened.
