Following the announcement of the San Diego Zoo in San Diego, California, a non-restaurant snow tiger was infected with Covid 19.
San Diego Zoo supervisors said they had noticed that Ramel, a 9 - year - old snow tiger male, showed symptoms of cough and nasal gonorrhea last Thursday.
and Two tests showed the presence of the new corona virus, according to a statement from the zoo on Friday.
The Park Department added that Ramel showed no additional symptoms, but that because he shares a barn with a female snow tiger and two tigers of some sort, park staff assume that the rest of the animals have had the same symptoms.
As a result, the animals were placed in healthy isolation, their gallery was closed, and it is unclear how Ramel became infected.
