Republican Deputy for Texas Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician, said US President Joe Biden's performance at the press conference Thursday raises questions about his fitness and state of health.
The congressman for Texas stated Friday that Biden's performance at his first official press conference "should cause concern to every American who wants to know whether their President is capable of his position or not."
Jackson explained: "The President of the United States was armed with friendly reporters and answers that seemed ready, but he barely managed to get through his first press conference."
"If President Biden can't handle reporters' questions at the White House, it's worrying to think about how he represents the American people when speaking to foreign leaders."
Biden's first official press conference came 65 days after he took office, the longest time an American president spent before his first press conference compared to previous presidents.
Biden raised a lot of questions after he was spotted dropping a video 3 consecutive times, as he climbed up the stairs leading to the Air Force One.
Karen Jean-Pierre, deputy White House spokesman, blamed the "falls" on the windy weather, which, she said, was very strong.
Speaking to reporters on the presidential plane, Karen added: "It's so windy, and I got on the plane hard. The president's health is good and there are no injuries. "
