Referring to the importance of continuing development in Sinai, in parallel with the fight
against terrorism, Egyptian prime minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, on Tuesday, reviewed the
plan to launch the second phase of development in North Sinai

"Madbouly" said during his meeting with Sinai sheikhs and wise men at the headquarters of
the 101st battalion in Al-Arish, that Sinai will remain a precious spot in the heart of every
citizen, stressing the readiness of the Egyptian people to expend millions of lives to protect
Sinai, and stressed that Egypt will not allow regional issues to be liquidated at the expense
of its land .
Madbouly pointed out that since 2014, Egypt has embarked on extensive development plans
in the Sinai Peninsula, believing that the development aspect remains an important element
in securing this region.
The Egyptian prime minister said that over the past 10 years, his country has implemented
many development projects in Sinai at a cost of 600 billion pounds, stressing that the
prepared plan for the development of Sinai will include all aspects of life and infrastructure,
and will be implemented by the people of Sinai themselves.
The Egyptian prime minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, arrived on Tuesday morning; the
headquarters of the Battalion "101" in El-Arish accompanied by the head of the North Sinai
Tribal Union, a high-level ministerial delegation and a group of media, politicians, party
heads and members of the House of Representatives.
