Thabet Thabet government hospital confirmed the arrival of a number of injuries to the hospital, following the Israeli incursion.

Residents of the camp, located near Tulkarem in the northwest of the occupied West Bank, said that the storming began after midnight from several axes,"and shortly thereafter clashes broke out between a group of gunmen and the Israeli army".

Residents explained that the Israeli army brought bulldozers with it and bulldozed roads inside the camp, before withdrawing several hours later.

According to accounts on social networking sites, ambulance teams in the city of Tulkarm were unable to enter the camp as a result of the siege imposed by the Israeli army.

A video filmed inside the Nur Shams camp also showed the detonation of explosive devices directly under an Israeli military mechanism.

Armed clashes broke out between the resistance and the occupation soldiers at more than one point in the camp.

In the framework, the Directorate of education in Tulkarm issued a statement announcing the disruption of school hours after the break-in.

For his part, Nabil Abu Rudeina, spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, warned of the consequences of the "policies of murder and incursions into Palestinian cities, villages and camps carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities," which bring things to a dangerous impasse.

"The continuation of these aggressive policies against our people and our land, and the continued storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by Jewish extremists under the protection of the occupation army, in addition to the terrorism of settlers and their attacks on our people and other unilateral measures, will have very dangerous repercussions for everyone,"Abu Rudeina said in a press statement.

"The American side should intervene immediately to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression, and not be content with the policy of statements that do not change anything on the ground," he said, noting that the situation is about to explode due to the dangerous Israeli escalation.

The occupied West Bank has been witnessing a marked escalation of violence for months, with an increase in the number of Israeli army incursions into Palestinian cities and camps, resulting in the death of at least 226 Palestinians and 32 Israelis, Ukrainians and Italians, according to a census compiled by Agence France-Presse based on official sources from both sides.
