In a statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that "the escalation in the violations and crimes of the occupation forces and the settler militia continues and derives

encouragement and protection from the statements and positions of not only Ben - Ghafir and Smotrich, but also from the positions of Israeli Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu and his boast of ignoring the Palestinian issue and the strategic necessities of its solution," according to the Palestinian news agency-Wafa.

She accused Netanyahu of" trying to overturn the facts of the conflict, deny the centrality of the Palestinian issue, and replace the content and meaning of real peace with racist colonial concepts, "stressing that"its goal is to perpetuate the occupation, complete the episodes of apartheid and swallow the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem".

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry held " the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for the comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and their just and legitimate national rights," stressing that "the closure of the political negotiating track between the two sides is directly responsible for the escalation in the conflict arena, and gives the occupying state more time to pounce on the opportunity to implement the principle of the two-state solution and the embodiment of the Palestinian state on the ground.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said today that "resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the only way to achieve security and stability in the region".

"The international community and the US administration should not be content with warnings, demands and appeals to the occupying state, and adopt binding international mechanisms for the occupying state to force it to immediately engage in a peace process and real negotiations leading to an end to the occupation of the land of the state of Palestine within a specific time limit,"she said.

At noon today, large crowds mourned two Palestinian brothers north of Jerusalem, who were run over by a settler south of Nablus last night.

Shehab agency confirmed that the two brothers, both in their thirties, were killed in a hit-and-run crime carried out by a settler who fled, south of Nablus, last night, while they were maintaining their vehicle near the Zaatara checkpoint.

It was quoted from the Jerusalem governorate that the body of one of the brothers, Mohammed Mutair, was transferred to one of the hospitals in Nablus, in parallel with the Israeli ambulance "Red Star of David" transferring his brother Muhannad to Hadassah Hospital while he was injured, but he died on the way to it or later.

According to sources close to the family of the two dead men from the Qalandia camp, they were in the city of Nablus, where they were preparing for their sister's wedding next Friday.
