Following the recent bloody attack on Al-Hasakah Industrial Secondary Prison, Hafal Qartay, commander of the Special Forces Unit, which worked to clear the Industrial Prison
and its surroundings of Al-Daashin cells, warned the commander of the Kurdish-majority Syrian Democratic Forces that ISIS might launch new attacks on Al-Hasakah Prison.
He was quoted as saying: The main reason for activating and strengthening ISIS sleeping cells is international silence and weak support for Al - Quds in their response to terrorism.
"We rely on insufficient resources to fight the conflict," Hafal Qartai continued.
Noting that some terrorists cross checkpoints under the mask of civilians without facing any problems, he points out that Al-Quds had been aware for some time that the imprisonment of the industry would be the target of an ISIS attack, and received intelligence reports of the increase in the number of organization cells in the area.
Qartay stated that Qasad currently controls the entire industrial prison, but expects new attacks on him.
