Yemen's defense said that, following violent battles against the militia whose terrorist elements fled in the mountains after dozens were killed and wounded, "troops were able to defeat the Houthi Melchia from several locations in various hubs in the Hareb Directorate."

The Ministry of Defence of Yemen stated, through its website, that "today, with direct support from coalition fighters, the national army, the Giants brigades and the popular resistance have been able to recover new areas and sites, most notably Jabal al-Faliha, on the southern front of Marb province."

"Army and resistance forces have continued their progress on the ground south of Marb, liberating strategic military positions, and mountainous areas close to the Strategic Salaa Mountains, the most important of which is Jabal Al-Faliha in the midst of large-scale collapses, and significant human and material losses among the Houthis," said Jabah Front warriors, Brigadier General Abdh zobiany

And zobiany

add"Today's battle by the army and the resistance coincided with focused air strikes by coalition fighters targeting Houthi groups, reinforcements and mechanisms."

It noted that "the Houthis suffered significant loss of life and materiel in fighting and artillery and aerial bombardment, along the theatre of operations on the western and north-western fronts of Marb province."
