With a view to reducing the spread of the new Corona virus mutant, Omicron, the Cairo International Airport authorities have tightened all the precautions followed
Travel and arrival lounges at Cairo International Airport have seen ongoing clearance, including waiting areas, breaks, boarding gates, stairs, elevators, offices and transport of personnel.
The airport authorities stressed the need for passengers and workers to wear camshafts, with continued social dispersion, and to provide the necessary disinfectants at all lounges and locations.
She also stressed that the World Health Organization (WHO) had issued instructions concerning the handling of Egyptian arrivals at the airport from the countries where Omicron had appeared, and continued follow-up on all relevant publications issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
It should be noted that the Cairo Air Port and Airport Quarantine Company has been coordinated to provide the necessary doses of Corona virus vaccination to workers, their families, airlines, all operators and airport attendants, with emphasis on taking the two doses and emphasizing the continuity of vaccine provision.
This is in the light of the decisions of the High Committee for the Management of the Corona Virus Crisis, chaired by Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli.
