The official Saudi news agency "Wass" reported that the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen had targeted a secret site of Iranian guard experts in Sana'a, and that the site destroyed was used to collect and store ballistic missiles inside the capital, Sana'a.
Saudi state television reportedly quoted the coalition saying that it had launched airstrikes against "legitimate" Houthi military targets in Yemen's capital Sana'a.
The coalition added that it had called on civilians not to gather or approach potentially targeted sites.
The Arab Coalition asserted that the process was in conformity with international humanitarian law and its customary norms.
For its part, the Yemeni group Ansar Allah (Houthis) has today accused the Arab coalition of carrying out raids on Sana'a International Airport north of the capital, central Yemen.
The raid on Sana'a airport is the second of its kind in two days. Last Sunday, Ansar Allah announced that the coalition had bombed three similar raids.
In return, Ansar Allah carries out marching aircraft, ballistic missiles and bomb boats targeting Saudi and Yemeni forces inside Yemen, and the Kingdom's territory.
