As part of efforts to improve relations with Tehran, the diplomatic adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Anwar Qaradava, revealed that his country would soon send a delegation to Iran to improve relations with Iran.

Qarrabiya stressed that "Abu Dhabi will keep its Gulf allies up to date."

In response to a question about when a United Arab Emirates delegation would hold talks in Tehran, Karzai said: "The sooner the better," without making an appointment

The diplomatic adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates noted that "there is an appreciation on the part of the Iranians for rebuilding bridges with the Gulf."

He added: "We approach this with a positive perspective," while stressing that his country "still has concerns about Iran's regional activities."
