In front of Parliament headquarters in Bardou, the capital, the Ennahda Movement's manoeuvres continued in Tunisia, as the party rallied its supporters towards the street to demand that extraordinary measures be rejected and that the frozen parliament be reconvened.

Supporters of the parties of the Nahda Movement and the Heart of Tunisia and their allies gathered outside the walls of the Parliament in Bardot Square, shouting slogans hostile to President Qays Said and trying to break into the seat of the Parliament. They called for his resumption more than 3 months after the President announced the freezing of Parliament, the dissolution of the Government close to the brothers and the opening of judicial proceedings against anyone involved in financial and political corruption over the past 10 years of the brothers in tunisia.

The demonstrations by those who reject the extraordinary measures in Tunisia follow days of statements by Ennahda President Rashed Ghannouchi, which hinted at his willingness to resign as Speaker in exchange for a new opportunity for dialogue in Tunisia.

During the past week, Ghanouchi also appeared in a series of moves in which young people from his party met to pay tribute to their "defence of democracy and legitimacy and their tireless efforts to restore the democratic situation in Tunisia," as he put it.

This was seen by observers as a new maneuver of Gnoshi, akin to blowing on the ashes, amid desperate attempts by the First Brotherhood man in Tunisia to restore his political presence and confuse the path of political reform in the country, 10 years after the country's renaissance.
