Sudanese Army Commander Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan announced the composition of the new Transitional Sovereignty Council, comprising 13 members, including two women.
The Council comprises 9 members of the former Council and 4 new members, replacing the former Council members of the Forces of Freedom and Change.
Proof decided to establish a new Transitional Sovereign Council under his chairmanship, with Mohamed Hamdan Djulu as its deputy, after nearly two weeks of military control of power in the country.
The names of the members of the new Council are as follows:

The appointment of the representative of eastern Sudan was postponed until consultations were completed.
It should be noted that on 25 October, the resolutions establishing the resolution of the Councils of Sovereignty and Ministers and the imposition of a state of emergency throughout the country, together with the dissolution of all the governing committees of all State institutions, trade unions, trade unions and the General Federation of National Employers.
The international community is accelerating mediation efforts to find a way out of the crisis, which has left a number of Sudanese cities paralysed.
Proof has stressed, on more than one occasion, that it seeks "a full civilian transition that ensures that the Sudanese live in dignity."
