Dr. Khaled Abdalghafar Minister of Higher Education, Chairman of the Egyptian National Committee for UNESCO, received an advance report.
Dr. Gada Abdalbari, Secretary-General of the Committee and representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the Executive Board of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO), on Egypt's participation (hypothetically) in the work of the eleventh special session of the Executive Board of ALECSO, with the participation of Dr. Mohamed OAAmamer, the Director amir of the Organization.
The report explained that the aim of the session was to discuss the proposal for the establishment of a Council of Arab Ministers responsible for education and its tasks, which was proposed in September 2021 by the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States at its regular session at the ministerial level.
The report referred to the decision of the Executive Board of Alexo, at its eleventh special session, to adopt the technical document submitted by the Public Administration of Alexo to the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, as well as to emphasize that Alexo is competent in the fields of education, culture and science in coordination with the League of Arab States, as well as the need to continue to develop its competent technical administration.
