The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced today Friday that the second batch of Iraqis stuck in India will be evacuated next Sunday.
According to the IAC statement, "On the basis of the instructions of Transport Minister Nasser Hussein Al-Shabali, the second evacuation flight to India has been scheduled to take place next Sunday, 9 May, after official approvals have been obtained from the upper echelons."
"Passengers who will be evacuated by the said date must be accompanied by a PCR examination proving that they are not infected by the epidemic and by compliance with the decision of the High Commission for National Health and Safety, and the Ministry of Health, which provides for 14 days' imprisonment from the date of arrival in Iraqi territory," the Director-General of IAC said in the statement.
