The prince was the subject of government accusations that he was at the heart of a "conspiracy" aimed at "stability and security" of the country, which Prince Hamza denied.
Jordanians had posted pictures of Jordanian King Abdullah and Prince Hamza on Facebook, eressing their joy at resolving the crisis.
