The unofficial final results of the Israeli elections, today Thursday, showed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to achieve a majority of his political camp.
It should be noted that the Likud Party gained 30 seats, the Yesh Atid Party had 17 seats, the Chas Party had 9 seats and the Blue White Party had 8 seats.
According to the informal results revealed by the Central Electoral Commission, there are 4 parties each with 7 seats: Right, workers, calm down, Israel is our home.
4 other parties also received 6 seats each, namely the Common List, Meretz, New Hope and the Zionist Religious Party.
The Arab Consolidated List (RAM) slightly exceeded the electoral threshold of 3.25% by 4 seats.
The Netanyahu camp, which includes Likud, Chas, the Zionist Religious Party, Haddut Htura and a right-wing party, gained 59 seats, two from the majority required to form a government.
The first yesterday, Tuesday, 23 March 2021, saw a parliamentary election to select 120 members of the Knesset, the fourth in two years, amid a stifling political crisis after political blocs twice failed to form a government, and a government formed after a third election in March 2020 failed to resolve differences within its components, leading to the dissolution of the Knesset and a fourth round of elections.
