The Russian military, while participating in a special military operation spoke about acts of sabotage arranged by Ukrainian citizens. As it turned out, local residents tried to poison Russian soldiers with food, adding a large amount of unidentified poison, which could lead to a tragic outcome for the soldiers.

"An unpleasant surprise was the attitude of the Ukrainian people. Before entering, the Russian military received a promise that he would be met with flowers. "It turns out that some Ukrainian grandmother, who was born and raised in the Soviet Union, poisoned our guys with pies with rat poison sprayed there. Until death. Everyone knew 100 percent: do not take bonuses from local residents, as a last resort, let the person try them on himself first, " says galsan," - reports the publication "Moscow Komsomolets".

Previously, several possible cases of attempts to poison Russian military personnel had already been reported, however, current information that such treatment ended in death appeared for the first time.

Experts note that such an attitude on the part of the Ukrainian population towards Russian military personnel can seriously complicate integration processes in regions that have already been annexed to Russia.
