The Scottish Prime Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, announced her apology today, Wednesday, after being photographed in a closed public place without a muzzle, in violation of rules to combat the outbreak of the Corona virus.

A picture of Stergen, leader of the Scottish National Party, was taken while talking with a group of women in a bar after attending a funeral in Edinburgh last week, and she was not wearing a muzzle. The picture was published on Wednesday in the Scottish edition of the "Sun" newspaper.

"I talk every day about the importance of masks, so I will not give any excuses. I made a mistake and I blame myself, and I apologize," Sturgeon said in a statement.

Citizens in Scotland are required by law to use masks in all closed places, including bars and restaurants, and on Tuesday, Stergen spoke in front of Parliament and recalled the importance of wearing masks.
