According to local media, Esra Heinz, after suffering a cardiac arrest, died after participating in a challenge on “TikTok”, based on inhaling fumes from deodorant bottles.

The Heinz family called on the authorities to take measures to prevent deaths that may result from such challenges on social networking sites.

According to Israa's mother, her daughter remained on a life support machine for 8 days, and then her brain was significantly damaged, which made the family decide to stop the device, according to the “Fox News”website.

The challenge is not limited to inhaling only deodorant packages, but also paints, coatings, gases and other dangerous chemicals.

The Education Authority of the Australian state of Victoria responded to the appeal of the Heinz family, deciding to intensify its efforts in order to familiarize students with the harms of inhaling dangerous compounds and their deadly effects.
