Social media circulated a protest gathering of the families of female students in the city of Saqqez after their daughters were poisoned at the Miraj School, amid unofficial news of the arrest of some protesters. However, the Iranian authorities did not deny or confirm this.
In addition, Iranian opposition media abroad reported that a 16-year-old student died in the city of Kamyaran, western Iran, in a Tehran hospital, three weeks after he was poisoned, noting that the concerned Iranian authorities deny any deaths due to poisoning so far.

Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that 30 female students were poisoned in a village in the northwestern city of Maragheh.

Meanwhile, a member of the Iranian Parliament's Education Committee, Mehrdad Wais Karmi, told the "Ruedad 24" website that 100 people were arrested on the grounds of poisoning Iranian students, noting that some of them deliberately did so with the aim of disrupting schools and others "were deceived and played in their court."

However, at the same time, this representative said that "there was no poisoning. Some of the students' health condition worsened after inhaling the smell of oil. This does not mean poisoning, and the state of nausea is not scientifically poisoning," as he put it.

In addition, the Iranian Deputy Minister of Health for Treatment Affairs, Saeed Karimi, said today, Sunday, that the specialized scientific committee that was formed before the Iranian New Year, which began on March 21, is still continuing its activities, adding that the results of the committee's investigations have not changed.
