Maksim Gregoryev, President of the Coordinating Council of the Russian General Chamber for Public Control of Voting, confirmed that more than 380 observers and international experts follow the path of voting in Russia at the positions of the public observation posts.
"Foreign observers have joined us to observe voting in Russian legislative elections, working in public centres, headquarters and polling stations," Gregoryev said in his remarks, adding that 383 international observers and experts from 80 countries around the world participate in election observation and have full control over electronic voting.
It should be noted that more than 7.5 thousand users are simultaneously following the voting process in Russia at 30,000 polling stations using the video surveillance system, and voting is taking place in this year's State Duma elections from 17 to 19, along with regional and municipal elections.
According to the decision of the Russian Central Election Commission, voters can vote remotely in Moscow and six other Russian regions (Kursk, Rostov, Sevastopol, Nigny, Novgorod, Yaroslavl and Murmansk).
