Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed Moscow's readiness to share experiences with all countries of the world in combating the Corona pandemic.
During the ceremony to accept credentials from foreign ambassadors, which took place in the Grand Kremlin in Moscow, Putin congratulated them on officially starting their work in Moscow, stressing that their constructive initiatives and proposals would receive support from the state, business circles and the entire Russian society.
The head of state indicated that the Corona pandemic placed the world in front of the need to unify efforts in the face of infection, adding that Russia had started using the "Sputnik V" vaccine against Corona, in addition to its success in developing two other vaccines, and one of them, "Epivac Corona", was officially registered. .
Putin affirmed Moscow's readiness to share experiences "with all concerned countries and international structures," adding that talks are underway with a number of partner countries about the possibility of launching Russian vaccine production on their soil.
The Russian President stressed the need to search for solutions to all problems afflicting the world, including international terrorism, drug trafficking and organized crime, on the basis of equality between countries and the provisions of international law, in light of the United Nations playing its main role in these activities.
Putin reminded that Russia had previously proposed holding a summit of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, to discuss ways to enhance security and stability in the world, expressing his hope that this meeting would take place as soon as the global epidemiological situation allows for it.
Putin added that Russia participated this month in a number of important international forums, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the "Group of Twenty" summits. He also referred to Moscow's role in ending the bloodshed in the Karabakh region, which provides preludes to resolving the chronic conflict between Armenia Azerbaijan is in this region a permanent, comprehensive and just solution that serves the interests of the peoples of both countries.
