The auction will be held 4 days from now via the House's website, while the house estimated the price of the letter at between 150-200 thousand pounds sterling.

"The speech includes a talk about the revolutionary spirit, a long and important letter from Karl Marx to his French publisher, Maurice lacater, which emphasizes the original approach underlying his fundamental work, "Christie's said.

"Marx spoke of economic analysis as a starting point for political theory, expressing his fears about this,"she added.

During the speech, Marx addressed his French publisher, saying: "I have entered into our contract that 2,000 francs must be paid two weeks after the application for my new book, If you don't mind, I prefer to pay the money on July 1, because otherwise I will have to liquidate some sound investments.

His speech was intended for the book "Capital", which appeared in parts between August 1872 and May 1875.
