The Syrian Civil Defense announced that many buildings collapsed in the Syrian city of Aleppo, killing at least 69 people
Where the Syrian Civil Defense said, on Monday, that dozens of victims and people died immediately after the collapse of their buildings, as a result of the great earthquake in Turkey in the city of Kahramanmaraş, which struck the country at dawn today, Monday.
The local authorities in Aleppo city said that the victims are still trapped under the rubble in the northwest of the country.
And the Syrian News Agency, SANA, reported on Monday that an 8-story building collapsed in the city of Hama as a result of the earthquakes that triggered the strong earthquake in Turkey, while 8 people were killed in the north of the country as a result of the earthquake.
The Syrian News Agency quoted the Director of Aleppo Health as saying: "Ten deaths have arrived at Al-Razi Hospital in Aleppo, and dozens of injured as a result of the earthquake."
The earthquake was felt in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Israel. There are reports of buildings falling and casualties in Syrian cities

Geologists at the American Center of Meteorology issued warnings of the consequences of the earthquake with expected tsunami waves, as the earthquake's strength exceeded seven degrees and eight points on the Richter scale.
The German Center for Geosciences Research said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers near the city of Kahramanmaraş.
