US President Joe Biden said that his administration will deal

With a Chinese spy balloon suspected of crossing the skies in the eastern United States. "We will take care of it,"Biden added when asked by CNN if the United States would shoot down the airship.

Biden has been discussing options with military commanders since they were first told about the balloon's case on Tuesday, while his advisers warned against shooting at the balloon and dropping it to the ground because debris could fall on people or houses.

Biden was speaking in Syracuse, New York, where he is visiting his family.

The suspected Chinese spy balloon was spotted in the sky over York County, South Carolina, after crossing the state line from the nearby Charlotte area on Saturday morning, the York County Police Department said in a tweet on Twitter. The balloon was flying at an altitude of 60 thousand feet, and the District Police Office said, addressing the residents: "do not shoot at it, your rifle shots will not reach it".

Meanwhile, another object resembling a Chinese spy balloon, which was seen flying over the United States, was spotted in at least two Latin American countries this week.

Eyewitnesses in Costa Rica and Colombia said they saw an object in the sky, which could not be confirmed by CNN at that point, as a Chinese Balloon.

The Colombian media talked about a balloon flying at an altitude of 70 thousand feet above the airspace of the South American country, citing the Colombian military.

There have also been reports of a balloon flying over Costa Rica, which could be the same one that flew over Colombia.

Lawyer Esteban Carranza posted a video of the balloon on Twitter on Thursday, saying:"the same type of balloon that was spotted in the United States was visible all day in the sky of Costa Rica".

Carranza confirmed to CNN that he filmed the white balloon flying over the Costa Rican capital San Jose. CNN geolocated the location of the video, a shopping center in San Jose.

The governments of Colombia and Costa Rica have not yet issued any official confirmation or statement on these reports.
