According to a statement from the US

State Department, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Egypt, Israel and the West Bank, in the first visit since Benjamin Netanyahu's government came to power in Israel

The statement noted that Blinken will hold "consultations with partners on a number of priority international and regional issues, including the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Iran, Israeli-Palestinian relations, discussing the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the protection of human rights and democratic values," according to the US State Department.

This will be Blinken's first visit to Israel since the far-right took over the premiership led by Benjamin Netanyahu.

The US Secretary of state will meet with the two presidents: Palestinian Mahmoud Abbas and Egyptian Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
