Liverpool fell to a 1-1 draw at Brighton, in the match that brought the two teams together on Saturday, in the tenth round of the English Premier League.

The Portuguese Jota scored the lead goal for Liverpool in the 60th minute, after a solo effort ended with a powerful shot in the net, before Pascal Grose realized, Brighton's equalizer, from a penalty kick in the calculated time instead of lost.

The Liverpool star, the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, went out of the match after being replaced in the 64th minute by Senegalese Sadio Mane.

With this draw, Liverpool raised its tally to 21 points, to rise to the top of the table temporarily, while Brighton raised its score to 10 points, in 16th place.
