Anxiety prevails over the English team, Liverpool, due to the possibility of losing the Egyptian star in the preparation period for the next season, and perhaps the first matches of it, due to the player's summoning file to his country.

A report by the English newspaper "Liverpool Echo" revealed, today, Wednesday, that the "Reds" team is facing a major crisis due to Salah being called to the list of the Egyptian national team in the 2021 Olympic Games.

The newspaper quoted Shawqi Gharib, the coach of the Egyptian Olympic team, in which he said: "The technical staff of the team and the Egyptian Football Association have the desire to summon Mohamed Salah to the Olympics."

He added, "Salah is a global player, and I hope he can play with us in the Olympics."

He continued, "When you have such a player in your team, the goals of the team will be different."

Salah will also participate with his country's national team when the African Cup of Nations begins next February.

This would put Salah away from Liverpool during a long time in the Premier League season in the journey to defend the Premier League title, in the event that the Pharaohs qualify and reserve a place in the tournament hosted by Cameroon.
