Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his support for the Russian mixed martial arts champion Habib Nur Mammadov, saying that he will definitely win the upcoming match.

And Ronaldo appeared through a video clip on the "Instagram" site, and appeared to be enjoying his time in the swimming pool, after he was recently infected with the new Corona virus, but without showing symptoms.

"Certainly, my brother Habib will win," Ronaldo said, referring to the upcoming fight against American Justin Gaitji, adding the phrase "God willing."

Ronaldo has been in friendship with Habib Nur Mamedov since he was the Portuguese player at Real Madrid, and therefore, it was natural for him to support him in the match expected next weekend.

As for Habib, he is a football fan for Real Madrid, and in 2018, he received a shirt from Ronaldo bearing the name of the Russian athlete, and the relationship between the athletes has since developed.

Ronaldo's friendship in the midst of mixed martial arts is not only limited to Habib, he is also close to the Irishman, Conor McGregor.
