Dortmund confirmed that the two teams had reached a "mutual agreement" on the transfer of 19-year-old Jude Bellingham in the summer.
The German club added that it would receive a fee of 103 million euros plus a variable amount with a "maximum total of about 30 percent" of the fixed transfer fee, based on team and player bonuses.
One of the most promising talents in world football, Bellingham joined Dortmund from the English Birmingham City in 2020 for 25 million euros.
The young Englishman played 132 matches for the German club, scored 24 goals and won the German Cup in 2021.
Billingham was awarded the title of the best player in the Bundesliga for the 2022-2023 season, helping Dortmund get closer to its first league title in more than a decade. But the team finished its season second behind Bayern Munich on goal difference.
Bellingham made his debut for the England national team when he was seventeen years old, and had a major role with the "Three Lions" at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, when he participated in all five matches and scored one goal and made another on the way to the quarterfinals when he was sent off against runner-up France.
Real Madrid announced the departure of Frenchman Karim Benzema, Belgian Eden Hazard, Spaniard Marco Asensio and Dominican Mariano Diaz at the end of the current season.
