Since his admission to the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo at the end of last November, the Spanish newspaper "Marca" said that the state of health of Brazilian football legend Pele is in "constant deterioration."

Marca, citing local reports, said Pele's condition had "worsened and he is no longer responding to treatment".

She highlighted that the Brazilian legend nicknamed"The King" and the 82-year-old is receiving "complementary care only to help him breathe and relieve pain".

Simultaneously, Billy's daughter, Kelly Nascimento, posted on her Instagram account a recent photo of her dad, taken yesterday Friday in the hospital.

Kelly, in the photo, is shown hugging her father and sleeping on his chest. Commenting on the photo, she said: "We are still here, in struggle and faith.. Another night together".

The Albert Einstein Hospital said on Thursday that Pele "suffers from the development of tumors, and requires more comprehensive care for the treatment of kidney and heart failure".

Pele has suffered from an increasingly deteriorating health condition in recent years and has been undergoing regular chemotherapy since being diagnosed with colon cancer last year.

He also underwent surgery to remove the tumor in September 2021, and spent a month in the hospital. The former player will spend Christmas this year in the hospital.
