After footage on social media showed 5-time world MVP Cristiano Ronaldo hitting a fan's hand while filming on the phone as he walked out of the green rectangle of Goodison
Park last April, British police confirmed they had "shut down" the attack file of star Cristiano Ronaldo on a small fan last April and issued their decision on the Portuguese star.
A police statement published in the Mirror said: "We can confirm that 37-year-old Ronaldo appeared voluntarily and was cautiously questioned in connection with the alleged assault and criminal damage."
He added: "The allegation relates to an incident following the Everton-Manchester United football match at Goodison Park on Saturday, April 9."
The statement concluded that the police's decision was to issue a "conditional warning" to Ronaldo, stressing that "the case is now over".
The British police had launched an investigation into Cristiano Ronaldo's crash of a junior fan's phone during the Manchester United-Everton match.
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo had made an apology for hitting a phone carried by a fan, following the end of his Manchester United team's game at Everton on Saturday in the English Football League.
