After winning the African Nations Cup on 4-2 Sunday evening, at the expense of the Egyptian team led by Mohamed Salah, the English club Liverpool congratulated the Senegalese Sadio Mane

The English club also took care to send a message to Mohamed Salah: "We wish Mohamed Salah the best in what's coming."

Liverpool later posted another tweet: "You must be proud of the outstanding performance you have given throughout this tournament, Mohamed Salah."

Sadio Mane took part in the entire match and wasted a penalty shootout in the first leg. He carried out the tie that gave Senegal the win, under the brilliance of Mohamed Abu Jabal Jabal Hajis Al Farawah, which culminated in the Man of the Match award.

Liverpool wrote on its official Twitter account: "The lion of the Teranga imposes his power on Africa. All congratulations to Sadio Mane for winning the African Cup of Nations with the Senegalese side."

The Egyptian team lost the championship title to Senegal in a match that saw the Pharaoh keeper, Mohamed Abu Jebel, crowning his fantasy performance during the final, the result of which the Senegalese team took a 4-2 lead in the Man of the Match award.

The Senegalese team culminated in the African Nations Championship for the first time in its history, following a strong performance in front of the Egyptian national team, which played 4 matches for the continent's giants, during which they all reached overtime, after a strong physical effort for the men of the Egyptian team.
