In a conversation with France Fútbol, Real Madrid's Spanish attacker, French Karim Benzema, revealed his opinion of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's English goalscorer, saying, "Mohamed Salah is a very talented player, he's one of the best players in the world."

"Salah reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo, he's a useful player for this team, for any team in the world."

The French international attacker continued: "It's always good to see your playmate do well."

Observers considered Benzema's statements on Salah to have reignited speculation that the Egyptian star could move to Real Madrid.

Spanish press reports have revealed on more than one occasion that Real Madrid is seeking Moe Salah's services, and that "there is interest in contracting him."

Benzema's statement comes as concern among the Liverpool masses increases, as Salah has so far failed to reach a new contract deal with the Reds, after months of negotiations, especially as his current contract expires next June.
