Having won the match between the Sudan, today, with five clean goals, Egypt qualified for the eight of the Arab Cup currently held in Qatar.

The win over the Sudan comes as a second of the victories of the Pharaohs, after winning the first round over Lebanon with a goal for nothing. The Egyptian team shares the lead of the fourth group with the Algerian team with 6 points each.

Algeria and Egypt are equal in points, goal difference and even points discounted because of clean play, so that the runners-up will wait for the last round of the group stage.

The Egyptian goalscorers in front of the Sudan were both lifted with a brilliant fourth-minute shot after the ball bounced off the bench, Ahmed Sayed Zizu in the 13th minute of the penalty kick, and Mahmoud Hamdi Alunch after receiving an occasional decisive pass from Hussein Faisal in the 31st minute.

Al-Faraa added the fourth goal in the second leg with Hossein Faisal's foot in the 57th minute, while Mohammad Sharif concluded the match with his header in the 78th minute.

It is reported that the match saw two ejections of players from the Sudan, Yasser, directly involved in the 46th minute, and Fares Abdallah, the second after receiving the second warning in the 53rd minute.
