In the second round of the 2022/2021 UEFA Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain, Argentina's Lionel Messi, faces Spaniard Pep Guardiola in a meeting with the Parisian team with Manchester City, today, Tuesday, 28 September.

The Paris Saint-Germain roster saw the return of Argentine star Lionel Messi, who missed the last game of the Parisian team in the French League due to injury, which meant receiving a green light from the team's medical apparatus and possible participation in the main formation.

Along with Messi, the line of attack that Parisians will bet on to win includes Brazilian Neymar Junior and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe.

In the first round, Manchester City won a major victory over German Leipzig 6-3, while St. Germain returned a disappointing equaliser from Belgium's Klopp Brugge 1-1.

The Parisian team wishes to avenge the English team, whose maximum of last season's Champions League semi-final was to win them in the back-to-back standings (2-1 and 2-0), as well as from the quarter-finals of the 2016 edition after a back-to-back tie in Paris 2-2 and a 1-0 victory in Manchester City.
