The Egyptian national reached the semi-final of the AFC Champions League, after crossing the Mamelodi Sun Downs.

Al-Ahli tied for 1-1 with the Sun Downs, and qualified by virtue of a 2-0 victory, bringing the total to 3-1.

Yasser Ibrahim scored for Al-Ahly in the 11th minute, before Musa Libusa was adjusted in the 30th minute, after which Al-Ahly managed to preserve the result.

Al-Ahly reached the semifinals for the 17th time in his history at the African Championships, waiting for him to face a pure "Arab."

Al-Ahly will face the winner of the Youth Meeting of the Algerian Youth and the Tunisian Promotion, which ended in 2-0 victory for the Algerian team.
