After flights in the skies of the United States became impossible,

after the aviation system suffered a technical malfunction, the Royal Mail Services Authority in Britain announced that it was facing severe disruption in sending services abroad, because of what it said was a "cyber event," but did not clarify what this cyber event was, or whether it was an attack.

The British postal authority called on customers to refrain from sending items to the mail for the time being, noting that it is working to solve the problem .

"Some customers are experiencing problems with delays or confusion in shipments that have been routed abroad,"she added.

In turn, the British post confirmed that the import operations of shipments coming from abroad are working regularly with limited delays.

The state body said it had opened an investigation into the incident, was working "with external experts" and"sincerely apologizes" to its customers for the interruption in service.

This development comes after a technical malfunction that paralyzed the movement of flights to and from the United States for several hours.

The US authorities said that the malfunction was the night outage of the NOTAM system, which serves to warn pilots of possible dangers throughout the flight path , and it is not yet clear what caused the malfunction .
