The flying electric car "X2" took off on its first public flights in Dubai in the UAE،
The X2 is an electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle, which includes two seats, and relies on eight propellers, two in each corner of the vehicle.
Commenting on the ninety-minute driverless test flight, the company said it was "an important foundation for the next generation of flying cars".
"We are moving step by step towards the global market,"said Mingguan Zhou, general manager of Xpeng Aeroht. "We chose Dubai first because it is one of the most innovative cities in the world,"he added.
XPeng conducted the first global public flight of its Xpeng X2 electric flying car at "Skydive Dubai", in the presence of more than 150 people
"The X2 is a two-seater flying car designed for future flights at low altitudes in the city, especially short trips, such as sightseeing, medical transportation,"it is noted.
Also in the XPeng X2 there are two driving modes: manual and self-driving "without a driver", the vehicle is only capable of flying, it cannot be driven on land roads or streets.
