Edit... Reham Mosad Al-Anshili

Coinciding with the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan.

An Arab company has announced the world's first intelligent prayer carpet, with a voice assistant and a guidance screen to guide large and young worshippers during prayers.

In line with technology that has become ubiquitous, we are in front of the world's first smart prayer carpet specifically designed for new Muslims and children, launched by an Arab company to provide guidance on the exact way to pray.

The smart carpet, called "carpet," includes an LED screen with loudspeakers in the front, where the screen broadcasts Quranic verses during prayer, and people can use the mobile app to select the part they want to read specifically during prayer.

Users are also assisted with step-by-step visual representation of movements during prayer, and the carpet provides voice instructions in Arabic and English for greater clarity. The smart carpet can be connected to the mobile phone for a more specialized experience.

The release of the prayer carpet follows the launch of a smartphone platform offering prayer timing services, along with instructions and instructions for a proper prayer. The same company also launched an app before Ramadan to determine the direction of the kiss at the time of prayer.

Speaking of technology entering the religious aspect of Muslim life, we recall Saudi Arabia's experience with robots to clean up sanctuaries and holy sites, as well as the electronic systems used by the Kingdom to help worshippers under the Corona pandemic and social exclusion.
