The take-off unit of the Chinese lunar station "Chang A-5" succeeded in landing on the surface of the moon for the second time.
The Chinese Space Corporation reported this, noting that the take-off unit exited at 01.59 hours from the moon's orbit and landed on its surface successfully in order not to turn into space waste that prevents other lunar stations from studying the moon.
The space establishment recalled that the "Chang A-5" station consists of the orbital probe, the landing pad and the take-off unit, which returned the landing platform to the lunar orbit after the end of its mission to collect lunar soil samples.
It is noteworthy that the Chinese "Changan-5" missile was launched last November 24 to the moon carrying the sections of the Chinese lunar station "Chang A-5". The landing pad separated from the station in lunar orbit on December 1 and landed on the moon's surface.
During the next two days, the platform excavated and collected moon rocks, and then took off from the surface of the moon by the take-off unit carrying a capsule containing two kilograms of lunar soil samples. Then the orbital station detached from the take-off unit and transported the capsule with the lunar soil samples back to Earth.
