In a resolution that reflects the seriousness of the rift between Russia and the West, and that the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian War and its sanctions and mutual pressures between Moscow and the Atlantic capitals will not stop at a certain point, after the crises it has caused have destabilized the security of the Earth food and energy and in various fields it is moving to space.
The Russian-American conflict over the impact of the Ukrainian crisis appears to be expanding further into outer space this time, with statements by the new head of the Russian space agency, Yuri Borisov, saying that his country would abandon the International Space Station after 2024, with the establishment of a Russian national orbital station
The Russian withdrawal was decided at a press conference of the head of the Russian Space Agency, which stressed that Russia was working within the framework of international cooperation on the International Space Station and would, of course, fulfil all its obligations to partners.
The Russian official stressed that the decision to leave the international station within the specified period had "already been taken".
Experts warned that the collapse of international cooperation between the world's major Powers in space exploration and scientific research would have an enormous cost that would reverse all the major successes achieved and accumulated by mankind in this vital scientific sector and threaten to evoke the Cold War atmosphere between Russians and Americans, which was then known as the Star War.
On the implications of the decision to withdraw for the Russian and international judicial sectors, it responds with burden: "Since the time of the former Soviet Union, Russia has been a world leader in space science, research and exploration But with the collapse of that union and Russia's distant accession to the International Space Station, Russia's aerospace research sector and industries are being decimated by corruption, monotony and decline and therefore the decision to withdraw Moscow from the International Space Station is a glimmer of hope for the renewed elevation of the status of the Russians and their leading role in the invasion of space, which will serve the world as a whole.
The US State Department responded by saying it was surprised by Russia's announcement, calling it an "unfortunate development."
Ministry spokesman Ned Price said: "It is an unfortunate development given the very important scientific work done on the ISS, as well as the valuable professional cooperation between our two space agencies over the years, especially in the light of our renewed agreement on cooperation on space flights."
The International Space Station is the most sophisticated and costly scientific and technological project ever in the history of space exploration.
The International Station is the most expensive human-generated construction ever, costing more than $150 billion.
