"This is an unprecedented crisis characterized by a large number of deaths, a child is killed
every ten minutes, a crisis in which famine is used as a weapon of war, as well as water and
medicines," Callamard said.
This is about collective punishment, a humanitarian crisis created by military and political
decisions, which is why Amnesty International is calling for an immediate ceasefire.
Even at the time of wars ... There are rules, and the Israeli army is ordering Palestinians to go
to safe places, knowing that there are no safe places in Gaza.
There are no safe houses, no schools, no hospitals, there is no safe place in Gaza, but there is
a desire to displace these residents, and we fear the worst ... We are monitoring all the
indicators of ethnic cleansing in the speeches of the political authorities."
